Brett Melican is a filmmaker, writer, and curator. Sometimes he directs plays.

He programs for IFFBoston and RPM Festival, works on the production staff of the Telluride Film Festival, and is a member of the AgX Film Collective and The Film-Makers' Cooperative.

His first feature, Stranger Danger, will be released in 2026.
